3. Care and maintenance

The BERG trampoline is manufactured using high-quality materials and is intended for many years of
enjoyment. Proper maintenance and good care guarantee a long lifespan and assist in preventing
injuries.
The following guidelines should be observed.
Inspect the BERG trampoline before each use according to the assembly manual and replace broken or
missing parts. Neglecting regular maintenance can lead to a risk for users.
Pay attention to:
• The condition of the joints of the frame components (broken welds or bent frame).
• The condition of the springs (broken or extensively stretched springs).
• The condition of the jump mat (damage, incorrect tension or sagging mat).
• Missing, improperly positioned, or insecurely attached protective padding.
• Punctures, frays, tears, or holes worn in the mat or protective padding.
• Deterioration in the stitching or fabric of the mat or protective padding.
• Sharp protrusions on the frame.
When not using the trampoline for longer periods (for example winter) storing the BERG trampoline is
highly recommended.
You can clean the jump mat and the padding with a cloth and cold water. NEVER use solvents,
dishwashing liquid, detergent or hot water. We recommend covering your BERG trampoline with a BERG
protective cover in order to prevent soiling.
Contact our dealers for ordering original parts of the BERG trampoline.
