NanoVarnish
Description of material
NanoVarnish is a light-curing denture lacquer based on
nanotechnology for the reliable sealing of areas endangered
by plaque in case of resin veneers, long term temporaries
or denture bases. After polymerisation the extremely
thin-flowing lacquer creates a homogeneous and highly
abrasion resistant surface which considerably reduces
the adhesion of bio-films on the resin thanks to a special
surface energy.
Processing
The area to be lacquered is to be readily treated, fat-free
and dry. Due to the thin layer NanoVarnish lacquer is not
suitable as polish replacement. The areas to be coated are
to be smoothened in advance. For a homogeneous and
even coating 10 MicroBrushes accompany the packaging.
These ensure an optimum distribution onto the resin sur-
face, even in case of small quantities of lacquer.
Attention: The sensitive photo-initiator of NanoVarnish
lacquer can even respond to the table lamp. The lacquer is
to be applied rapidly and in one step and polymerised in-
between, if necessary. Only take out the requested quantity
and close the bottle immediately.
Polymerisation
The lacquer can be cured in all current light-curing machines
(spectral area 350-400 nm ). The curing time is approx.
3 min. (e. g. Polylux PT), however, it can vary according to
the performance of the different machines. All coated areas
have to be polymerised completely. Leaching monomers
may provoke reactions on the mucous membrane.

Important advice

• Do not inhale and do not get in contact with skin or eyes.
• Due to the legal product liability we cannot quote binding
polymerisation times for units of other manufacturers.
• Sensitive persons can show allergic reactions to one of
the product components.
• The product in exclusively designed for the a. m. field
of application and is only to be used by qualified and
instructed persons.

Storage conditions
At room temperature, i. e. 23 °C.
Keep bottle closed well, protect from light.
Durability: see date of expiry.
NanoVarnish is not to be used when expiry date has passed.

be applied according to the instructions. In the case of
damages resulting from ulterior or improper use, the
manufacturer assumes no liability. Furthermore the user
is bound to check the product according to suitability and
possible use in self dependence before using it subject to
its purpose, especially in case the purpose is not mentioned
in the instructions.
