Locating your mount
WARNING: IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS PERSONAL
INJURY OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT! It is the installers responsibility to make
sure the structure to which the unit is being installed is capable of supporting the
load. The product is designed for installation to 2x4 wood stud or masonry not
un-reinforced metal studs.
WOOD CONSTRUCTION: locate two framing studs (minimum of 16" (405 mm) apart)
at the desired location using a stud finder device. Use 3/16" (5mm) bit and drill holes
2.5" (64mm) deep.
MASONRY: a minimum width of 16" (405 mm) is required between fasteners.
Use 3/8" (10mm) bit and drill holes 2.5" (64mm) deep.
