USER REPLACEABLE
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU CONSULT YOUR VEHICLE OWNER'S MANUAL TO
DETERMINE THE LOCATION OF AIRBAG SENSORS BEFORE INSTALATION. THE
MANUFACTURER OR THE RETAILER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INFLATION OF AIRBAGS

INSTALLATION GUIDELINE
LEDAccentz HDIN is anauxiliarylightdesigned to provide exterior a uxiliary andaccent
lighting whiledrivingoff roadLEDAccentz HCV'•' hasa distinctamperage d rawbelowin
the installation instructions. If you are not confident in your ability to install the Alpenae
LEDAccentz HDIM p easeconsult a licensed mechanic.
LEDAccentz HDIN hasspecific voltageandamperage r atings for power inputand
amperage draw. ENSURE THESERATINGS AREFOLLOWED. The LEDAccentz
be installed in a properly functioning vehicle electrical system. Do not install this
product in a malfunctioning vehicle eectrical system
Do not insta adhesivetape in temperatures under 50 degrees F (10 degrees C)
Selecta mounting ocation that will not obstruct the operation of headlights or turn
signals
Cleanmounting surfaces before installing units using water, and if necessary, a 50/50
mix of water and rubbing alcohol
Beforepermanently mounting bracket to vehicle, test fit to ensure optimal beam
pattern, height, and width and that wiring is long enough to be safely installed anddoes
not obstruct any operating functions of the vehicle. Theselights should not be installed
wherein the operation hindersthe visibility of the driver or other drivers. See Figure 4.
Chooseyour insta lation location carefully as heat generated bythe units while
operating may have adverseeffects on vehicle plastics andother surfaces
Beforedisconnecting battery terminals, pleasecheck your owner s manual for proper
procedure

INSTALLING LIGHT
O Select mounting ocation that wil allow maximum beam adjustment capability and
will not cause any obstruction with vehiclefunctions
O Decidemounting style. See Figure 1
O Mark the mounting position of the lights onto the mounting location Use 1/8" drill
bit to drill hole for mounting screw
O
Insert the screw through the hole,tighten screw to securethe light. Do not over
tighten screw See Figure 1
O Do the same for the passenger side
O Install the switch to the dashboard. If an opening is not available on your dash,find
a location to mount the brace. Make sure there are no obstructions behind the
switch location. See Figure 2

INSTALLING WIRES/ SWITCH

O Disconnectthe battery before installing the wiring harness
O Connectthe fused end of the red wire to the positiveterminal on the
battery. Run this wire through the vehicle's firewall to reach the switch.
O Plugthe female connector to pin #1 on the switch
O
Usethe other female connector to connect the white long wire to pin
#2 on the switch.
O Runthis wire through the vehicle's firewall to the engine bay and

connect to the positive white wire on the driver's side light
O Plugthe bullet connector from the blue wire to the white wire on the
o
lamp on the passengerside
O Run the other end of this blue wire to the driver side and connect it to
the white wire
O Install the ring connectorfrom the black groundwire from each of the
lights to a chassis ground or useself-tapping screws for new ground.
O Turn the switch to "OFF"position and reconnect the vehicle's ground to
the battery
O Turn the switch to "ON" position to test lights
O If both lights do not turn on, check the 1. Battery 2 Fuse 3 Switch
If only one light does not turn on, check the ground wire for that light
With the lights ON,adjust the beam angle of the lights carefully as the
lamps may get hot.
O Do not point the lights upward to avoid blinding oncoming traffic
O
Tighten all screws
