    DE: Bedienungsanleitung Digitale Briefwaage Sehr geehrter Kunde, sehr geehrte Kundin, wir danken Ihnen für den Kauf dieses Qualitätsproduktes von GENIE. Bitte lesen Sie diese Anleitung zunächst vor Inbetriebnahme sorgfältig durch. Beachten Sie insbesondere die folgenden Vorsichtshinweise. Bitte bewahren Sie diese Anleitung für eine spätere Einsichtnahme auf, bei einer Weitergabe des Artikels bitte die Anleitung mitgeben.

Es bestehen unterschiedliche Gefahren im Umgang mit Batterien/Akkus. • Versuchen Sie niemals, nicht aufladbare Batterien wieder aufzuladen, schließen Sie Batterien/Akkus nicht kurz und/oder öffnen Sie Batterien/Akkus nicht. Überhitzung, Brandgefahr oder Platzen können die Folge sein. • Unsachgemäßer Umgang mit Batterien/Akkus kann Ihre Gesundheit und die Umwelt gefährden.
  • Page 4 Batterie Einlegen Achtung: Wichtiger technischer Hinweis vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme! Entfernen Sie bitte das Isolierband vom Batteriefach. Drehen Sie die Waage herum und legen Sie sie vorsichtig auf eine saubere, gerade Unterlage. Öffnen Sie nun das Batteriefach. Legen Sie die beiden mitgelieferten Batterien in das Batteriefach. Achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Polung.

Batteriefach Funktionsweise Einschalten Der Waage Schalten Sie die Waage ein, indem Sie die Taste “ TARE/ ON” drücken und kurz halten. Auf dem LCD Display erscheinen kurz alle Anzeigen, dann folgt die eingestellte Gewichtseinheit.
  • Page 6 Wiegen Schalten Sie die Waage wie zuvor beschrieben ein. Legen Sie das zu wiegende Objekt auf den Glasteller. Das exakte Gewicht wird grammgenau ermittelt. Einstellen der Maßeinheit Durch Drücken der Taste „UNIT“ (Einheit) können Sie zwischen den Einheiten Gramm (g) und Unzen (oz) wechseln. Die gewählte Einheit wird durch einen kleinen Pfeil im Display angezeigt.

This is a precision instrument designed specifically to provide reliability, durability, and outstanding performance. In order to ensure the scale continues to deliver peak performance, please read these operation instructions carefully and thoroughly prior to initial usage.
  • Page 11 • Ensure the connection terminals are not short-circuited. • Never throw batteries into a fire or water. • Never expose batteries to any mechanical loads. • Leaking batteries could cause damage to the device. If a battery should start to leak, remove it from the device immediately to prevent any further damage.
  • Page 12 Battery Status When the low battery symbol appears on the LCD screen, it indicates that the battery is low. Open the battery compartment and replace the old batteries with new ones. Used batteries must not be disposed of as household waste. Do not incinerate batteries because they might explode at high temperature.

Turn the scale on by pressing “TARE/ ON” key 2. The LCD screen will show all characters for a few seconds and then 0g or 0.0oz will be shown on the display.

Maintenance Clean with a soft cloth. Do not immerse directly into water or detergent, scrub with abrasive material or use corrosive cleanser.

Observe the identification on the packaging materials during the waste sorting process; they are identified by abbreviations (b) and numbers (a) which have the following significance: 1–7: plastic/20–22: paper and cardboard/80–98: composite materials.
