NOTE: One programmed remote (with new battery) and key that starts the vehicle
must be present to program new remotes.
NOTE: All currently programmed and new remotes must be reprogrammed to
vehicle in the same programming session.
NOTE: Programming can be affected by voltage fluctuation. Ensure vehicle battery
voltage of 12.6VDC is maintained throughout this entire procedure.
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1:
Insert working key and turn key to on position without starting engine.
STEP 2:
Insert programmer into OBD-II port.
STEP 3:
Programmer will beep and "REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE" will display in the driver
information center.
STEP 4:
Press and hold lock and unlock buttons simultaneously on new remote until programmer
beeps. Repeat Step 4 for any other remotes to be programmed.
STEP 5:
Remove key from ignition and programmer from OBD-II port.
STEP 6:
Test all remotes.
STEP 7:
Repeat procedure if remotes are not properly working.
NOTE: Programmer will only support three programming attempts before it no
longer operates.
