Beschreibung
Das Gerät ist ein CANopen Gateway im System MSI 400 zur Übertragung von Diagnose-
daten an eine Steuerung und von Prozessdaten von/zu einer Steuerung.
Das Gateway kann nur zusammen mit einem Controller-Modul aus dem System MSI 400
betrieben werden. Bis zu zwei Gateways können direkt rechts an das Controller-Modul
gesteckt werden. Es wird über den internen Sicherheits-Bus mit Spannung versorgt.
Prozessdaten können vom MSI 400-Controller-Modul empfangen und auch zu ihm über-
tragen werden, wo sie im Logikeditor verwendet werden. Beachten Sie hierfür den Kon-
figurationsdialog für CANopen.
Das Gateway ist kein Sicherheitsgerät und der Feldbus wird nicht sicherheitsgerichtet
betrieben.

• Hersteller / Betreiber der Maschine, an der Leuze Geräte verwendet
werden, müssen alle geltenden Sicherheitsvorschriften /-regeln ei-

und einhalten.
• Spannungsversorgung trennen, während Sie die Geräte anschließen.
• Das System ist nur für die Montage im Schaltschrank mit mindestens
der Schutzart IP54 geeignet.
Anforderungen an das Personal
Leuze Geräte dürfen nur von befähigten Personen montiert werden. Befähigt ist, wer...
• Elektrofachkraft ist oder über eine vergleichbare technische Ausbildung verfügt und
• in Bedienung und den gültigen Sicherheitsrichtlinien unterwiesen wurde und
• Zugriff auf die Betriebsanleitung, diese gelesen und verstanden hat und
• Zugriff auf die Betriebsanleitungen zu den mit den Leuze Geräten verbundenen
Schutzeinrichtungen und diese gelesen und zur Kenntnis genommen hat.
Bei Montage, Installation und Anwendung müssen die regional geltenden Rechtsvor-
schriften und technischen Regeln beachtet werden.

Description
The device is a CANopen gateway in the MSI 400 system for transferring diagnostic data
to a control and for transferring process data to/from a control.
The gateway can only be operated together with a controller module from the MSI 400
system. Up to two gateways can be plugged in directly on the right side of the controller
module. It is supplied with power via the internal safety bus.
Process data can be received by the MSI 400 controller module and also transferred to it
where it is used in the logic editor. Here, refer to the configuration dialog box for
CANopen.
The gateway is not a safety device and the fieldbus is not operated in a safety-oriented
manner.
Further information on the function of the system and its configuration can be found in
the operating instructions for the MSI 400 hardware (50134710/50134711), for the
MSI.designer software (50134712/50134713) and for the MSI 400 gateways
(50134714/50134715). These operating instructions are available in the download area
specified below.

Leuze devices and have read and acknowledged them.
The legal regulations and technical rules applicable for the respective region must be
observed during mounting, installation and application.

Description
L'appareil est une passerelle CANopen dans le système MSI 400 destinée à la transmissi-
on de données de diagnostic à une commande ou de données de processus depuis ou
vers une commande.
La passerelle ne peut être exploitée qu'avec un module contrôleur du système MSI 400.
Il est possible de connecter jusqu'à deux passerelles directement au module contrôleur
à droite. Elle est alimentée en tension via le bus de sécurité interne.
Les données de processus peuvent être reçues par le module contrôleur du MSI 400 et
lui être transmises pour y être utilisées dans l'éditeur logique. Tenez compte pour cela
de la boîte de dialogue de configuration pour CANopen.
La passerelle n'est pas un appareil de sécurité et le bus de terrain n'est pas exploité
dans un contexte sécuritaire.
