1. Remove contents from box and check for damage. Verify that all parts are present. Read and understand install instructions before attempting installation.
2. Remove the front portion of the flexible shroud located behind the front bumper near the frame rails by carefully prying the retaining clips that are attached. (FIGURE 2)
3. If the vehicle is equipped with 4-wheel drive, remove the front tow hooks using a 17MM socket & ratchet.
4. If the vehicle is equipped with 2-wheel drive, Remove the front bumper plastic valance and license plate frame by removing the 8MM screws located on the backside of the
bumper. To release the valance from the center of the bumper, release the driver and passenger bumper caps by squeezing the retaining clips behind the bumper. (FIGURE
3,4)
5. Insert the M12 stud plates into the front two bottom holes of each frame rail.
6. Attach each mounting bracket to the frame rails using (X4) M12 flat washers, (X4) M12 lock washers, and (X4) M12 hex nuts. Do not fully tighten at this time.
7. If the vehicle is equipped with two wheel drive, in order to re-install the bottom valance the customer must cut a relief into the valance in the shape of the cutout of the steel
bumper where the mounting brackets are mounted. Then reinstall the plastic valance. (FIGURE 5)
8. Attach the bull bar assembly to the mounting brackets using the remaining M12 hardware. If Customer has received a polished stainless steel bull bar, use a small amount
of anti-sieze compound to the threads to prevent galling.(FIGURE 6)
9. At this time tighten all hardware. Standard M12 torque value (40-55 ft-lbs). Stainless Steel M12 (35-50 ft-lbs)
FINISH PROTECTION
Westin products have a high quality finish that must be cared for like any other exposed finish on the vehicle. Protect the finish with a non-abrasive automotive wax, (e.g. Pure
Carnauba) on a regular basis. The use of any soap, polish or wax that contains an abrasive is detrimental, as the compounds scratch the finish and open it to corrosion.

2. Remover la porcion frontal de la tapa flexible localizada detras de la defense frontal serca de los rieles del chasis palanquiando cuidadosamente los broches de retencion
apegados (FIGURA 2)
3. Si el vehiculo esta equipado con traccion de 4-ruedas remover los ganchos frontales de remolque usando matraca &dado de 17MM.
4. Si el vehiculo esta equipado con traccion de 2 ruedas remover la doselera de plastico y el porta placas de la defense frontal removiendo los tornillos de 8MM localizados en
la parte trasera de la defense. Para quitar la doselera del centro de la defense quite las tapas del lado del chofer y pasajero de la defense oprimiendo los broches de retencion
de tras de la defensa. (FIGURA 3,4)
5. Insertar platos de perno M12 dentro de los dos huecos frontales debajo de cada riel del chasis.
6. Unir los soportes de montura a los rieles del chasis usando rondanas planas(X4) M12, rondanas de candado (X4) M12, y tuercas de aoja (X4) M12. No apretar completa-
mente en este momento.
7. Si el vehiculo esta equipado con traccion de dos ruedas, para reinstalar la desolera inferior el cliente debe cortar un relevo en la doselera en forma de el corte de la defense
de hierro en donde se montan los soportes de montura. Despues reinstale la doselera de plastico. (FIGURA 5)
