- Page 2 Installation Use the two supplied machine screws to attach fan base. Connect the dotted wire to a positive 3 amp fused 12 volt DC wire and the plain black wire to a negative ground wire. If the fan blade rotates backwards (counterclockwise), reverse the polarity to correct. Operation The blade must be clear of any obstructions that would cause the blade to jam.
