WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS
• Turn OFF circuit breaker/remove fuse(s) and test if power is OFF before
installation
• Never wire any electrical device with power ON
• Contact a licensed electrician if you are unsure about any part of these
instructions
• The device may not work or may be damaged if wired incorrectly, or wiring
with power ON. Warranty may be voided.
• CAUTION: To reduce the risk of overheating and possible damage to this
device or other equipment, do not install to control a receptacle, motor-
operated appliance, or a transformer-supplied appliance.
• Contact a licensed electrician if bare copper or green ground connection
are not present in wall box.
• Use only #14 or #12 copper wire rated for at least 75°C. DO NOT USE
ALUMINUM WIRE
• Use only with 120V/AC 60Hz and with permanently installed fixtures
• Do not exceed maximum rating indicated on the device
• Must be installed and used in accordance with all national and local
electrical codes
• Outlet box must be at least 3" x 2" x 2-1/2" and wired in accordance with
NEC article 314 box fill requirements
