3.3 SETTING THE WATER HARDNESS
• Check the degree of water hardness from the discoloration of the test strip. (See chapter
"DETERMINING THE WATER HARDNESS")
• Machine must be in the parameter setting mode.
• Tap the coffee strength icon to choose corresponding. water hardness level, when there
is no red square shown on the water hardness test strip, please select with level 1 – soft
water.

• When you have set the correct water hardness, press start/cancel button to save the
setting.
• Machine goes back to beverage selection mode.
NOTE - Since you only set the water hardness once, the aroma strength function is used
to select the water
hardness. This does not affect the aroma strength of drinks you make afterwards.
3.4 RESTORING SETTINGS
• Machine must be in the parameter setting mode.
• Long press Latte Macchiato and Milk Froth icons at the same time for three seconds.
• All parameters will be reset to default settings.
