4" ELO+ LED Surface Mount Luminaire
RETROFIT OVER HOUSING AS LED LAMP REPLACEMENT
TURN OFF MAIN POWER BEFORE INSTALLATION
NOTE: RETROFIT IS COMPATIBLE WITH 3" CAN HOUSING ONLY
1. Remove existing trim and light bulb from the recessed hosing to reveal the medium base socket. If applicable, remove
socket from plate.
2. Examine all parts that are not intended to be replaced by the retrofit kit for damage and replace and damaged parts
prior to the installation of the LED luminaire.
3. Place provided LED Lamp Replacement Marking Sticker inside the housing where visible to installer.
4. Attach the bracket to the LED luminaire and insert the plugs to secure. (Figure 1)
5. Attach the retrofit blade kit onto the LED luminaire using the retrofit screws provided, ensuring that blades are facing inward. (Figure 2)
6. Insert the LED luminaire wires into the orange connector (White – Negative & Black – Positive). (Figure 3)
7. Screw in medium base socket adapter into medium base socket. (Figure 4)
8. Lightly squeeze ends of blades together and insert blades into housing. (Figure 5)
9. Safely place all wires into the housing and carefully push the LED luminaire into the housing.
