Préparation préalable
Afin d'assurer la bonne tenue de la
colle thermo-adhésive:
- Frotter la gaine du câble et le corps
isolant avec de la toile émeri de grain
80-100�
- Nettoyer les zones rugueuses avec
un solvant (ex. Acétone).
- L'isolant orange du CV doit égale-
ment être légèrement abrasé et sur-
tout dégraissé avec de l'acétone sur
la longueur d'installation de la gaine�
L'aspect du PVC devient mat�

raient effacées� S'assurer que le

solvant s'est complètement éva-
poré et ne pas toucher les zones
rugueuses et dégraissées�

Ne pas abraser, dégraisser ou
toucher l'intérieur de la gaine�

Mettre l'isolant fendu (D) autour du fût
à sertir du connecteur à visser�

Remonter et mettre en butée la gaine
thermorétractable (A) sur le CV en
vérifiant le bon recouvrement des
isolants (D).

Preparation
To obtain good adhesion of the
thermoadhesive, roughen the sheath
of the cable with 80-100 emery
paper, clean the roughened zone with
acetone� The orange insulation of the
CV must also be slightly roughened
and thoroughly cleaned with acetone
over the whole assembly length of the
sheath� This gives the PVC a some-
what matt appearance�
Attention
Acetone must not be used on
the printed markings since it
will cause them to smear� Wait
until the solvent has completely
evaporated� Do not touch the
roughened and degreased zone�

Do not roughen, grease or touch
the inner sheath�

Push slit insulation (D) onto the barrel
of the screw connector�
(ill. 8)
Push shrink-on sleeve (A) onto the
insulation of the CV��� The slit insula-
tion (D) must be covered.
