Content of machine default setting
Select whether unfixed size paper is used or not in the stack bypass tray. Touch the "ON"
key to set the custom size paper. (page 145)
Touch the "OFF" key to detect the standard size paper automatically.
Whether the automatic drawer switching function (page 25) is used or not can be
selected.
The drawer size displayed on the touch panel can be set. When setting "APS", the
drawer size will be detected automatically and displayed on the touch panel.
Paper size key for a drawer with special paper such as colored paper or recycled paper
can be marked with an asterisk (*) on the basic screen.
Whether paper in the drawer set for the "4 Special paper" on page 147 is used or not for
the auto paper selection mode or automatic drawer switching (page 25) can be selected.
A "beep" sounds when touching the touch panel can be turned off.
A certain length of time during which copying ends and the energy saver function (page
97) is actuated automatically can be set. Set this time from 5 to 45 minutes in increments
of 5 minutes. The initial setting time is 15 minutes.
If the copier is not used for a certain length of time, the auto shut-off function (page 98)
automatically switches off the power. Set this time from 15 to 240 minutes in increments
of 15 minutes.
The auto shut off function can be turned off as well. ("0 Auto shut-off")
The initial setting time is 60 minutes.
* It is recommended to extend time for starting auto shut-off when the copier is used
frequently, and shorten when it is not used frequently.
How to finish the copy default setting
1. When finishing each setting, touch the "End" key for the copy default
setting screen.
The display will return to the management mode selection screen.
Comment terminer le réglage initial de la copie
1. A la fin de chaque réglage, effleurer la touche "Fin" pour l'écran de
réglage initial de la copie.
L'affichage retourne alors à l'écran de sélection de mode de contrôle.
