CAUTION
Skin contact: Do not allow a cleaning or disinfecting agent to leave residues
on any equipment surface. After allowing the appropriate time for the agent
to work (as indicated by the agent manufacturer), wipe off residues with a
cloth dampened with water.
Cleaning
Clean with a lint-free cloth, moistened with warm water (40°C/104°F) and
soap, a diluted non-caustic detergent, or one of the approved cleaning
substances listed below. Never use strong solvents such as acetone or
trichloroethylene.
Approved Cleaning Substances
Mild Soaps
Phosphates (as active cleaning agent)
Tensides (as active cleaning agent)
Disinfection
Clean the cable and accessories before disinfecting.
CAUTION
Solutions: Do not mix disinfecting solutions as hazardous gases may result.
Hospital policy: Disinfect the product as determined by your hospital's
policy, to avoid long term damage to the product.
Local requirements: Observe local laws governing the use of disinfecting
agents.
WARNING
Damage risk: To avoid damaging the cable and its accessories, do NOT use
disinfectants containing additional active ingredients other than those listed.
