Running on Windows 95/98/98SE/Me/2000 Professional PC card recognition procedure ® Windows 95/98/98SE/Me/2000 Professional incorporates a Socket Service, Card Service and ATA Card Device Driver. Therefore, the PC card becomes ready for use as soon as it is inserted in the PC card slot.
  • Page 11 Preparation for removing the PC card from the PC card slot NOTE: ® If the PC card is taken out of the PC card slot while Windows 95/98/98SE/Me/2000 Professional is running, the data saved in the Memory Card may be destroyed. To prevent this, be sure to observe the following procedure when taking the PC card out of the PC card slot.

  • Page 39 Vorbereitung für Entfernung der PC-Karte vom PC- Kartenschlitz HINWEIS: WIrd die PC-Karte aus dem PC-Kartenschlitz entfernt, ® während Windows 95/98/98SE/Me/2000 Professional noch läuft, dann könnten die auf der “Memory Card” gespeicherten Daten verlorengehen. Um dies zu verhindern, sollte folgendes Verfahren zur Entnahme der PC-Karte aus dem PC-Kartenschlitz eingehalten werden.

    Prüfen, ob ((Empty)-Socket) angezeigt wird und danach mit der linken Maustaste (OK) anklicken. Nun kann die PC-Karte aus dem PC- Kartenschlitz entnommen werden. 3-2.
