Der Sicherheitsmonitor wird in einem
AS-Interface-Bussystem zur Überwachung
von Schutzeinrichtungen z.B.
NOT-AUS-Schalter, verwendet. Er wird
gemäß DIN EN ISO 13849-1 für
Performance Level "e" / Kategorie 4
eingestuft. Nach der DIN EN 62061 ist der
Sicherheitsmonitor in Loops bis SIL3
einsetzbar. Der PFD-Wert der Gesamtloop
ist vom Anwender zu berechnen.

This safety monitor is used in AS-Interface
bus systems for monitoring protective
equipment such as EMERGENCY-OFF
switches. It has been classified as a
Performance Level "e" / Category 4 device in
accordance with DIN EN ISO 13849-1. The
safety monitor can be used in loops up to
SIL3 in accordance with EN 62061. The PFD
value of the entire loop must be calculated by
the user.

Le moniteur de sécurité est mis en œuvre
sur un bus AS-Interface pour la surveiller les
appareils de sécurité (par ex. ARRÊTS
d'URGENCE). Il correspond au niveau de
