3. General Guidelines
Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages
of this manual.
 Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when
operating the device.
 Protect the device against extreme heat, dust and moisture.
 Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually
using it.
 All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Do not
replace a damaged power cord yourself but refer to an authorized
dealer.
 Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an
unauthorised way will void the warranty.
 Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not
covered by the warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for
any ensuing defects or problems.
 There are no user-serviceable parts.
 Keep this manual for future reference.

6. Operation
1. Plug the power cable into a suitable mains outlet.
2. Switch on the lamp with the on-off button on top of the lamp.
3. The magnifying lens is protected by a hard cover. Fold it upwards to
use the lens. Do not force. Always close it when not in use to avoid fire
hazard (sunlight).
