    Do not operate charger with damaged cord or plug. If the cord or plug is damaged, ask Makita authorized service center to replace it in order to avoid a hazard. Do not disassemble this adapter. Reassembly may result in a risk of electric shock or fire.

    Remove the adapter from the charger while slid- ing the button on the adapter. Then unplug the charger. NOTICE: This adapter is for charging Makita battery cartridge. Never use it for other purposes or for other manufacturer’s batteries. NOTE: The terminal cover of the charger opens as you insert the adapter and closes as you pull out the adapter.
