Concentration main alarm A2

DANGER
!
Danger to life! Leave the area immediately.
A main alarm is self-latching and cannot be
acknowledged or cancelled (see instructions for use
X-am 5x00).
The alarm is indicated by an intermittent
alarm message:
The triggering device at A2:
A double tone sounds and the LED ring flashes red twice (main
alarm).
A receiving device at A2:
A double tone sounds and the LED ring flashes red/green
twice (secondary alarm).
For O
: A1 = lack of oxygen

A2 = excess oxygen
WARNING

Before the area may be entered again, a clearance
measurement must be performed!
Acknowledgement is possible only after the concentration has
dropped below the alarm threshold A2:
Press the
key.

The acoustic alarm messages will be switched off.

Battery pre-alarm

The alarm is indicated by an intermittent
alarm message:
Acknowledge pre-alarm:
Battery LED flashes red.
Press the
key. Only the audible alarm will be switched
OK
off.
The battery lasts another approx. 15 minutes after the
battery pre-alarm.

Battery main alarm

The alarm is indicated by an intermittent
alarm message:
The battery main alarm can only be cancelled acoustically:
Battery LED flashes red.
The device automatically switches off after 10 seconds.
The visual and the audible alarm will be activated briefly before
the device switches off.

Instrument alarm

The device error can be in the X-zone 5500 or the
X-am 5x00.
The acoustic signal can be changed using the PC
software Dräger CC-Vision.
An error code is only displayed with a local device error. The
error code of the first error (with the lowest number) is
displayed. If there are multiple local device errors, these can
be displayed either via Info Mode (see chapter 3.1.4 on
page 45) or the device must be exported using the PC
software Dräger CC-Vision (see chapter on page 64).
The alarm is indicated by an intermittent
alarm message:

The device or one or more sensor channels are not ready
for operation.

If necessary, commission DrägerService to eliminate the
error.
To acknowledge the device alarm:
Press the OK key.
