To keep your appliance working efficiently
for a long time, it is important to clean and
maintain it carefully.
Emptying the filter container
Once the washing programme has ended
and the appliance's status light lights up
red, empty the filter container.
Note: The filter container is full after approx.
20 washing cycles.
Tip: Scan the QR code to see an animation
of the process.
1. Hold the filter container by the recessed
grip and remove it fully to the front.

2. Wipe the filter housing dry.
3. Remove the filter cover from the filter
container by turning it anticlockwise.

4. Remove the scraper from the filter cover.

5. Loosen the contents of the filter con-
tainer using the scraper and dispose of
this with household waste.
Note: To prevent the wastewater from
being contaminated with microplastics,
do not rinse out the filter container with
water.
6. Attach the scraper in the filter cover.
7. Attach the filter cover to the filter con-
tainer.
8. Slide the filter container into the filter
housing from the front.
The status light lights up green and a
signal sounds.
Note: If the status light flashes red, the filter
container has not been inserted fully.
Cleaning the filter net and rotary head
In the next washing programme, if the
status light lights up red after the filter con-
tainer has been emptied, clean the filter net
and the rotary head.
1. Hold the filter container by the recessed
grip and remove it fully to the front.
2. Remove the filter cover from the filter
container by turning it anticlockwise.
3. Loosen the filter net by turning it anti-
clockwise, and carefully lift and remove
the middle filter.

4. Lift and remove the rotary head.

5. Clean the filter net and the rotary head
with a commercially available small
brush and a damp cloth.
6. Insert the rotary head.
7. Insert the filter net.

Align the partition wall of the filter net
with the partition wall of the filter con-
tainer.
8. Attach the filter cover to the filter con-
tainer and push the filter container into
the filter housing from the front.
Note: In the event of damage or loss of per-
formance, you can order a new filter net as
a spare part from customer service.
Starting the cleaning programme
If, after the filter container has been emp-
tied, the status light flashes red and green
alternately and a signal sounds, start a
cleaning programme.
On the washing machine, start a clean-
ing programme or a 90 °C cottons pro-
gramme with washing powder or wash-
ing machine cleaner.
Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting
You can rectify minor faults on your appli-
ance yourself. Read the troubleshooting in-
formation before contacting after-sales ser-
vice. This will avoid unnecessary costs.
Never make any technical modifications
to the appliance or its features.
Repairs to the appliance should only be
carried out by trained specialist staff.
Only use genuine spare parts when re-
pairing the appliance.
