Description
This USB switch by Delock can be controlled via button or WLAN. With the cloud based Smart Life app, the switch can be turned on and
off from anywhere. The app is compatible with voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Multifunctional application
The USB switch can be used to control all common USB loads, such as USB LED light strips or fans. The data lines are connected, so
USB devices such as webcams can also be switched; in addition, operation with power supply units or power banks with fast charging
function is possible. For example, the charging of mobile phones can be controlled in a targeted manner.

Installation
1. Scan the QR code or install the Smart Life app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. New users will need to register a Smart Life
account to use the app.
2. Connect your mobile device to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi router (with internet) and plug in the USB switch.
3. Press the button on the switch for 5 seconds until the LED starts flashing.
4. Launch the Smart Life app and click on "+" in the top right corner to add the device. Follow the instructions to connect the device to
your network. If it is not detected, select Electrical -> Plug (BLE+Wi-Fi) to add it manually.
5. Wait a few seconds for the device to be successfully added, then click "Done".
6. On main page of the device, you can control all functions of the switch, including power on/off, timer and settings.
7. If you want to control the USB switch with Amazon Echo or Google Home, click the button in the top right corner to open the device
control page. You can click on the Alexa or Google Assistant icon to open the instructions for connecting to Amazon Echo or Google
Home.
Note
It is possible that the power supplied by the computer is not sufficient for the USB adapter. Please try setting it up on a power supply with
USB-A port.
If you are using Windows, you can try to set the "Setting for selective USB power saving" to "Disabled" under "Power Options". Then the
USB ports will be permanently powered.
